Blue & the Roadhouse Daddies
Donna "Lady Blue" Greene is my favorite
blues singer in Santa Barbara. She and guitarist/vocalist Greg Loeb are
my close friends and the first musicians I gigged with when I came to
SB in 2002. They are great songwriters. Officially, we "revisit the
blues & jazz women of the 30's, 40's & 50's," but in fact,
we play healthy servings of R&B and rock & roll as well.
Performing & Visual Arts Camp, for kids 7 –
14, is a project of SBCEO's Childrens Creative Project. Accomplished vocalist–musician
Dauri Kennedy is camp director. Laezer Schomkowitz is drama teacher. Mary
Lynn Soini Schomkowitz is art teacher. I will be doing music and karate
again this year. In summer of 2006 we will be doing a
Broadway salute, a full length junior version of
the "The Wiz," and a Fiesta salute.
Stephanie is a delightful singer whose repertoire
ranges from classical to jazz and latin standards. In 2005 we did an album
of 14 jazz–oriented standards. She has upcoming latin and jazz–standards
